A coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a procedure to bypass a blocked coronary artery. The procedure involves isolating the blocked coronary artery and grafting a vessel to bypass it. The graft vessel is usually a portion of the saphenous vein of the leg or the internal mammary artery. It is grafted with very fine sutures.
