Title: Skeletal frequency on skeletal muscle contraction??
Post by: sophielee52 on Feb 12, 2014
If contraction amplitude is dependent upon the increase in concentration and persistence of intracellular calcium, why are the contraction amplitudes of single twitches the same?

For every twitch, under the same circumstances, the same amount of calcium should be released --> identical twitch.
