Post by: kellyking1 on Jul 1, 2014
1) Describe the 2 main mechanisms responsible for maintaining the glomerular filtration rate in the face of fluctuations in blood pressure.

2) Which is a more effective strategy for restoring the glomerular filtration rate when blood pressure decreases: increasing the radius of the afferent arteriole by 0.1 mm or decreasing the radius of the efferent arteriole by 0.1 mm? Support your answer using data from your experiments.
