Post by: Wilt66 on Jan 28, 2018
What rights does a finder have to abandoned property?
 A) A finder has title to and absolute right to possession of abandoned property.
 B) In states adopting the Uniform Disposition of Property Act, a holder of property that the law presumes is abandoned need not turn the property over to the state.
 C) Property left on buses, trains or in hotels must be turned in to the manager, who is required by law to diligently search for the original owner.
 D) If property is mislaid, not lost, then the owner of the premises has first claim against all but the true owner.
