Nu Post by: Pranit Ingale on Jul 8, 2014 If I discover any prokaryote which is able to make its food in absence of light, I will call them as chemoautotrophs because they are the only producer (autotrophs) after photoautotrphs which are able to make their food from energy released from chemicals. Examples are, methanococcus, sulphur bacteria, chlorobium etc
