The obese postsurgical patient complains of sudden discomfort in her leg. The nurse assesses the leg and finds it cold and pale, with no pedal or popliteal pulse. These are signs of:
1.   venous thrombosis.
2.   arterial occlusion.
3.   vascular spasm.
4.   paresthesia.

This is for my medical nursing class

Signs of an acute arterial occlusion can include severe pain, absent pulses, or very pale or mottled skin.

6Ps of neurovascular checks:
Pain
Pallor
Pulse
Paresthesia
Paralysis
Poikilothermia

-Issues with these show an issue with circulation -------- arterial occlusion
