Post by: ravindergill185 on Feb 4, 2018 Catholicism includes belief in God as a trinity: God the Father who creates and sustains the world and who sent the Son Jesus Christ to be born, die and be resurrected to save people from their sins and give them eternal life with God (heaven). God is also the Holy Spirit who works in the hearts of people. It further emphasizes apostolic succession by which the authority given by Jesus to his apostles has been handed down to Catholic church leaders. The sacraments play a vital role in Catholicism.
