A) Cabinet members are primarily responsible for asking Congress for money to fund their departments, meaning they aren’t in the public eye as much. B) Given the amount of departments within the United States, Americans only learn about those in which they are interested. C) Because Americans do not directly elect cabinet members, they are unaware of who hold the positions. D) Few cabinet members are actually well-known politicians.
