such tactics may generate publicity on behalf of a particular cause, much of the public attention remains focused on the celebrity or the event. There is also the danger of having anything that reflects badly upon a celebrity or event also reflecting badly on the cause. At best, celebrities and events help to grab the public's attention. Once that is done, it is up to the message to hold that attention. |
