Title: f 2 Al (s) + Fe2O3 (s)---> Al2O3+2Fe ... Hess Law
Post by: oblique101 on Nov 9, 2014
f 2 Al (s) + Fe2O3 (s)---> Al2O3+2Fe    Delta H rxn= -851.5 kJ

then 1/4 Al2O3 +1/2 Fe----> 1/2 Al +1/4 Fe2O3 Delta H rxn = ?

In this case, am I supposed to flip the second equation and multiply by 4 or by 1/4??

HELP!
