In the absence of shell casings, and if there are no persons around the vehicle, the officers:
 
  a. must obtain a search warrant before they can look in the car.
  b. may not touch the vehicle, but must wait for a tow truck.
  c. may make a limited warrantless entry to look for evidence of ownership.
  d. may conduct a complete search of the vehicle, since they do not have probable cause.
