hat is meant by the corpus delicti of a crime? How does the corpus delicti of a crime differ from the statutory elements that must be proved to convict a particular defendant of committing that crime?

The corpus deliciti is the FACTS that show that a crime occured. In corpus deliciti the courts said that there needs to be 2 things that are proven. 1) a certain result has been produced. and 2) that person is criminally responsible for that action tha has occured. Elements of a crime are the features of the crime. They are basically a list of things that the prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that ALL of the items on that list was caused by the defendant. And in most cases, there are more than just 2 things that need to be proven, in order to find the defendant guilty.

No worries. A lot of those topics that you are searching have been removed, unfortunately. The only ones still remaining are those found in the AMU/APU board (which are very few). If you have a homework question, you're encouraged to start a new topic. We will answer your question from scratch if need be.

Ok cool i have a class starting in jan cmrj 308 and usually when the site use to prompt me to type in the class diffrent students would blog suggestions about the class but i dont see that anymore but have you taken the class if i may ask
