Answer to q. 1

b

Answer to q. 2

1 . accelerated life cycle: Compared to gymnosperms, most angiosperms have a shorter life cycle. Producing and dispersing seeds fast allows an angiosperm to expand its range faster than a gymnosperm.

2 . pollinators: angiosperms receive assistance from pollinator animals which disperse their pollen. Pollinators transfer pollen from one plant to another of the same species. Angiosperms coevolved with their pollinators to enhance this via flower shape, color, scent, sugary nectar, etc.

3 . animal dispersed fruits: when animals eat or move fruit from a plant, it distributes the plants seeds to new locations to grow.

The last two points have contributed to diversity by coevolution between plant and pollinator or plant and fruit-eating animals. They have also contributing to angiosperms being so widespread by allowing fertilization of plants from a distance and dispersal of seeds to far off, new areas.
