Literally, the true form of justice comes with forgiveness, and not everything in life is resolved with justice. For example, say a family member were tragically murdered; if the murdered were sentences to prison for life -- that's justice to the inflicted family, but Jesus asks use to go one step further by forgiving that person's transgressions, so that we can open up to love and eliminate hate. |
