Title: Find the first derivative of y with respect to x
Post by: Jessa Marasigan on Dec 11, 2020
1.) 3x^2-xy+4y^2-2x+1=0
2.) x sin xy -3x-5=0
3.) x-y ln xy = 10
4.) tan^-1 sqrt(y) - 3x + 2y = 0

Hi Jessa,

So I think I got 1 through 3 for you (below), but for #4, could you confirm if this is what the function looks like before I start:

\(\arctan \left(\sqrt{y}\right)-3x+2y=0\)

* arctan means inverse tan-1

Okay, so in that case the first and last term become 0, and the middle term becomes -3, leading to:

-3 = 0, which doesn't make sense :-[

Really not sure about that one, have you been given the answers by any chance?
