Title: Old people afraid of dying in sleep? Post by: CarbonRobot on Dec 24, 2021 Why are older people afraid they might die in their sleep? Any gerontologists in here? I would think the odds of death would be least in an unconscious state with less histamine and inflammation? What threatens their life?
Title: Re: Old people afraid of dying in sleep? Post by: bio_man on Dec 27, 2021 I've never met any old person who has vocalized their concern of dying in their sleep, either to me or anyone I know. In my opinion, people die in their sleep due to underlying condition that haven't been addressed or diagnosed by a medical professional. I don't think people just die from being old.
