PART D: THINKING & INQUIRY 8. The function s(t) = —3t2 + 12t + 8 models the position (in meters) of an object as a function of time (in seconds). a) Find the velocity and acceleration function. h) Determine the velocity of the object when t = 3 seconds c) What is the maximum height of the object? I'm away from my computer at the moment, so I will tell you what to do. a) velocity function is the first derivative; acceleration function is the second derivative b) Into the first derivative, sub t=3 c) You can do this the old fashion way by finding the vertex of the displacement function (s(t)). Since it's a quadratic, it should be easy to do Does that help? Title: Re: Calculus homework help please Post by: Sadah_17 on Jun 4, 2022 Yeah, I'm a bit confused with part c will you be able to help me with that later?
