Title: Why do plants produce seeds and not stay as spores?
Post by: dreamingtruth on May 27, 2012
Why do plants produce seeds?  Yes, it is for reproduction, by why go to all that trouble?  Lots of plants do just fine by producing spores, which are much less complex.  What are the reasons for producing a complex structure like a seed?
