Title: Differentiate the function. f(x) = [tex]{{{(sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+8x)}^{-2}}[/tex]
Post by: quixie on May 7, 2015
Differentiate the function.

f(x) = \({{{(sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+8x)}^{-2}}\)

a. f'(t) = \(-\frac{16{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+3{x^{2}}}{({sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}})({{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+8x)^{2}}}\)

b. f'(t) = \(-\frac{32{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+3{x^{2}}}{(2{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}})({{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+8x)^{2}}}\)

c. f'(t) = \(-\frac{2{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+16}{{{(sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+8x)^{3}}}\)

d. f'(t) = \(-\frac{2{sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+16}{{{(sqrt{{x^{3}}-2}}+8x)^{2}}}\)
