The different between the mother cell and the daughter cells, or the different between chromosomes BEFORE and AFTER mitosis is that all chromosomes in mother cell consist of TWO chromatids while all chromosomes in daughter cells consist of ONE chromatid. During S phase the chromosome/chromatid/DNA will replicate again, and after G2 phase the cell will ready to divide again. |
