Title: Which of the four universities offer the best computer science program for undergraduates?
Post by: buffzyzz on Apr 18, 2011
I want to go to one of these universities to major in Computer Science: UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara. Which one is the best in computer science for undergraduates?

- Is it much easier to get accepted into UCLA with a major in Computer Science than other majors?

- Please provide as much information as you can. Thanks

well if u really want a good school for computer science check out Cal Poly-San luis Obispo.....This school is very well known for its engineering math and Science....Although its CSU...this campus will decline you if you have something below a 3.6 or so....(unless u have really good SAT/ACT scores)...i live in between UC Santa Barbra and Cal Poly state....and i have friends who have applied to both... They get accepted by UCSB but get rejected by Poly....very hard school to get into...but very, very good......

UCLA is the best for computer science. UCLA is known as a a good engineering and computer school.

But, you must know that UCLA is a competitive school, so you need to have very good grades and great SAT scores.

UCLA's the best for CS. Followed by UCSB, UCSD, UCR. It won't be that much easier. History, English, etc will be easier.
