Title: Am I calculating this dihybrid cross correctly?
Post by: firepain on Mar 10, 2012
It's 9 : 3 : 3 : 1. Out of 16. So I would divide 9 / 16 = 0.5625, and do counted flies x 16 = expected phenotypic frequency of red eye long wings?

so you want to calculate the phenotypic frequency of red eye, long wings- if there are 9 of these ( presumable the dominant traits) ? then it will be 9/16 , or 9 red eyed long winged flies, if calculating percenatge then divide 9 by 16 and multiply by 100
