Title: What kind of jobs can I get with an AA Special Education Degree? Post by: TOLBERTJD on May 17, 2012 You would be a great candidate for a special education teaching assistant in a school, unfortunately you would need a bachelor's degree and certification to be a special education teacher.
You could also work for community support agencies for children and adults with disabilities. Jobs include skill building (teaching life skills and social skills), community recreation assistant (go out and do activities in the community with a person or group of people with disabilities-such as bowling, visiting a museum, etc). You could also be a respite provider (provide childcare for children with disabilities). Another option is working in a childcare center, many are inclusive (provide care for children with or without disabilities). Good luck. |
