(x/3) + (1/3) + (x/7) + (2/7) = 2 Bring x's to one side (x/3) + (x/7) = 2 - (2/7) - (1/3) The equation can be written as (1/3)x + (1/7)x = 29/21 Add 1/3 and 1/7 to get 10/21 so (10/21)x = 29/21 x = 29/10 |
