Post by: fish44447 on Apr 5, 2012 My doctor does a CBC (complete blood count), I think iron levels, Rh factor, blood type and HIV. I don't think they test for any other STDs but you need to be upfront about your history if you suspect something. STDs can be spread to the baby and cause serious health concerns if left untreated, and you don't want to risk it.
Ironically my last doctor (I recently switched) will do blood type and Rh factor with every pregnancy, which is a waste, considering it is unlikely to change!
