Post by: tommyo0729 on Sep 4, 2012
I am having trouble with my practice homework problems.  I need to know how to find number of atoms when given moles and element and how to find the number of moles when given the number of atoms and the element.

Example Problems:

1. Element is Cr: Number of Atoms is 9.67 x 10^23............Find Moles
2. Element is Fe: Moles is 1.16 x 10^-5.........Find Number of Atoms

Please explain.
Thank you!

its simple mathematics as
1)          6.022 x 10^23 atoms = 1 mole

    then , 9.67 x 10 ^ 23 atoms = 1 x 9.67 x 10^23  / ( 6.022x 10^23)

 ............................. ................... = 1.606 moles

2) this one should try . its easy .then only u  will understand
