A) Make sure the oxygen supply has greater than 200 psi in the tank. B) Inflate the reservoir bag and make sure the bag does not deflate during inspiration. C) Insert the proper venture to receive the correct oxygen concentration. D) Connect the mask to a humidified oxygen source and observe for the heart rate to slow.
