She has a high fever, is drooling, and has noisy inspiration. You should:
A) ask the child to "open wide" so you can take a look at her throat. B) insert a nasopharyngeal airway. C) place a source of oxygen near the patient's face, but remove it if she becomes upset by it. D) reassure the parents that this sounds like the croup and there is nothing to worry about.
