There are many of them.
Thyroid hormone (T4) is one. Thyroid releasing hormone (TRH) is released by the hypothalamus, it acts in the anterior pituitary to release thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). TSH then travels to the thyroid where it causes synthesis and release of T4. T4 acts on the pituitary and hypothalamus to reduce the release of TSH and TRH respectively.
