Title: What are the subdivisions of each biome? Post by: MicroMan84 on Sep 22, 2012 So I'm doing a reaserch project(summer school) in biology about biomes and my teacher said that we can do a specific section from the biome to complete our shadow box.
The only example she gave us was "like freshwater or marshes from the aquatic biome". So I was wondering if someone could give me a list of ALL the 'subdivisions' for each biome. Any other tips would be nice! Thank you and PLEASE ANSWER!! =) Title: What are the subdivisions of each biome? Post by: microman on Sep 22, 2012 I guess nobody else is going to answer so....
There are six major types: Freshwater, Marine, Desert, Forest, Grassland and Tundra. The freshwater and marine biomes are probably the most important of all the biomes. Please study the links for specific information that would relate to your project. http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/exhibits/biomes/index.php http://www.blueplanetbiomes.org/world_biomes.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biome I hope this helps....Good luck |
