Title: What is the Osmostic Potential of a Potato (Solanum tuberosum) tuber Post by: Lefty743 on Sep 26, 2012 We just did an experiment that placed sliced up potato tubers into beakers with solutions that contained sucrose at various concentrations. This was to experimentally test the osmostic potential of a potato tuber. I was wondering if the osmostic potential of a potato tuber is a known value? I would like to compare my experimental value of 0.62MPa with that of the actual value.
