Title: If a homozygous tall yellow plant is crossed with a homozygous short red plant?
Post by: rlaehgns on Sep 24, 2012
In tomatoes, red fruit in dependent upon a dominate factor (R), yellow fruit is dependent on its recessive allele (r). Tallness is due to a dominate factor (T), dwarfness to its recessive (t).  If a tall yellow plant, is crossed with a homozygous short red plant, what would be the genotypes and phenotypes of offspring in the F1 generation?

TTrr x ttRR - all F1 are tall and red (TtRr)
