I would have to say they are in the sympathetic nervous system based on the fact that they cause dilated pupils, increased heart rate, and blood flow from organs to skeletal muscle.

adrenergic receptors are involved in the sympathetic nervous system and the (nicotinic) cholinergic receptors are involved in the parasympathetic nervous system
