Title: How could a mimic be used to distinguish if another drug blocks the receptor?
Post by: chinocollege on Oct 4, 2012
Drugs influence the nervous system by blocking neurotransmitters receptors, inhibiting the release of the neurotransmitter, or mimicking the neurotransmitter. How could a mimic be used to distinguish if another drug blocks the receptor or inhibits the release of a neurotransmitter?

I think I've seen this question in the past. Is it coming from a textbook or something? If so, let me know the title and I'll look through my resource manual.
