Title: what molecules are found in the endoplasmic reticulum?
Post by: 007 on Oct 8, 2012
Just wondering the major molecules that are found within the endoplasmic reticulum (including both the smooth and the rough ER)

I already got ribosomes, but i was wondering if there are any more?

Ribosomes are actually found on the outer surface of the rough endoplasmic reticulum. There isn't any other important molecules other than various enzymes that function within the reticulum.

I agree with the opinion of manny2493, the same macromolecules in RER and SER is protein enzymes, glycoprotein...
