Title: what does a prokaryote use instead of the endoplasmic reticulum and golgi?
Post by: snithiso on Oct 8, 2012
i understand that the ribosomes  that float around the cytosol synthesize proteins, but how are proteins packaged and sent to places? Also what serves the place of the smooth endoplasmic reticulum? Also what in a prokaryote serves the place of the chloroplast and mitochondia I know there are inner membrane systems that have the roles of these, but what are some more specific details?
