Title: Why don't ribosomes work without their ribosomal proteins
Post by: massivebrain on Feb 1, 2017
we all know ribosome's catalytic activity is provided by the Rrna. So what's the point of the proteins? I heard they won't work without their ribosomal proteins, but why not? what could they possible even do?
