Title: What is the best way to chemically separate two optical isomers? Post by: tonih79 on Dec 27, 2012 You would separate them using a chiral method. One good method is ELISA, which uses enzymes. Within naturally-occuring systems only one isomer will be attached to an enzyme, not both.
