Title: Is there any good analogy for a Cell Organelle?
Post by: irina on Jan 18, 2013
I need the (1) nucleolus (2) nucleus (3) ribosome (4) vesicle (5) rough endoplasmic reticulum (ER) (6) Golgi apparatus (7) Cytoskeleton (8) smooth ER (9) mitochondria (10) vacuole (11) cytoplasm (12) lysosome (13) centrioles. Something interesting?

A great analogy for a cell on a whole is a city- each organelle having a purpose in the city. For example, the ER would serve as roads through the city, the mitochondria would be a power plant in the city, etc. Use your definitions of organelles and imagination, and it'll be very easy to come up with the rest!
