Title: Will you please compare and contrast the EM radiation emitted by the sun and by a commercial FM radio antenna?

Im not exactly sure how to compare and contrast these two. Please help.

the sun emits energy at all wavelengths, with most of its emission occurring in the visible and IR

the antenna emits only at a very narrow range of radio wavelengths

both waves travel at the speed of light...but I am not sure how many more details they want you to go into, hopefully this will get you started

The first step will be to determine the frequency and power level being emitted by the antenna.  Then you'd need to know how far away from the antenna you wish to declare as the point in "space" that's under consideration.

Or, if you just want a simple answer, the FM transmitter is a relatively narrow-band emitter, as opposed to the Sun, which emits at a variety of places across the spectrum and could be considered a very broad-band emitter.
