Title: Find a vector perpendicular to two vectors with the dot product?
Post by: michelfelcon1 on Feb 12, 2013
Let v1= and v2= be two fixed vectors in lR^3 which are not scalar multiples of each other. Find any vector w perpendicular to both v1 and v2. You must use the dot product to solve; no cross product.

any vector perpendicular to v1 and v2 will be 0. why because dot product = |v||u|costheta

theta will be 90 degrees(its perpendicular)

cos90 is 0

so dot product will be 0
