Scale color in a certain species of fish is inherited via a single gene with three different alleles. How many different types of gametes would be possible in this system?

Please provide explanation...

It would have to be 3, because each gamete only contains one allele for each gene.  Because of this, no combinations are possible, and there would only be three.
