Title: how much pesticides are there in an apple peel?
Post by: Tonjia on Feb 26, 2013
I recently came across a book that talks about the importance to eat just "organic" foods, and the idea to be eating all the pesticides and chemicals from the fertilizers made me worry.  How dangerous is eating "non organic" apples and pears?

I'm not sure about the amount of pesticides in the peels but they are there in non organic apples. you can actually rub the shiny wax off of most apples. Organic apples are not usually waxed and won't have pesticides on them.  Just make sure you was every apple really well before you eat it!
