Problems like 3^16 with a fraction sign under it. over 3 to the 8th power

(a^n)/(a^m) = a^(n-m)

so 3^16 / 3^8 = 3 ^ (16-8) = 3^8 = 6561

imma assume you mean exponent laws. when dividing exponents(fraction sign) simply subtract the exponents. making the answer 3 to the power of 8. (16 - 8)
