I'm doing a true and false quiz on genetics. And the question is

Your blood group is your phenotype
a) True     b)false

any answers please?

That is false, blood groups are your genotype. Phenotype describes the outward appearance.

That's false.

Your phenotype if your physical traits. For example, blue eyes, or brown hair. Stuff like that.

Your blood type would be your genotype - like your genetic codes and stuff.

Yes.  Your blood type is one of your phenotypic characteristics.  It is the expression of your genotype.

Pretty DAMN sure it's true.

you see the blood group is due to certain PROTEINS that are expressed - proteins - every SINGLE one is a phenotype.

this IS a phenotype. the top contributor man above this answer is correct.

If you're Type A it means you're expressing type A proteins. It doesn't tell you if you're Ai or AA (or AO or AA, which is the same thing)

blood type = phenotype.

True.

For example my blood group phenotype is O Rh(D) + but my genotype is more than likely OO and Dd
