The patient who weighs 70kg is to receive 750 mg of abatacept by IV infusion for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The medication literature states that the medication has a dosage strength of 25 mg/mL when reconstituted according to direction. How many mL of abatacept will be prepared for this dosage?

30 -- Abatacept (Orencia), like other biologic DMARDs, is given parenterally, by IV infusion. The usual dosage is 500 to 1000 mg per IV infusion every two weeks for two doses, then every month.
