Do humans have a dominant trait for more than five fingers or are six fingers a dominant trait?

We would normally have 6 fingers if so.

Yes, actually! It's called Polydactyly and it is caused by an autosomal dominant allele. Usually the extra digit is just a little extra tissue, but every once and a while  a full functioning finger (or toe) can form!
