Title: What occurs with the blockage of sodium gates inside a neuron?
Post by: iknowdoyou3 on May 9, 2013
Inside a neuron sodium channel, there are two  types of gates sodium activation and inactivation gates.
What would occur if the sodium inactivation gates would not close or are blocked from closing as a hypothetical event?

Can someone explain what would happen to the overall action potential.

The sodium would continue to  come in and depoalrize the cell but what happens after?
