Title: In rats, two genes each with two alleles (A,a and R,r) interact to produce the following phenotypes
Post by: muski on Nov 10, 2011
In rats, two genes each with two alleles (A,a and R,r) interact to produce the following
phenotypes:
A_R_ : grey
A_rr  : yellow
aaR_ : black
aarr : cream
These phenotypes require that another gene with the dominant allele C be present since cc
individuals are albino. All genes assort independently. Two different albino lines were each
crossed with a true-breeding grey strain and all produced grey F1 progeny. The F2 were as
follows:
Albino
Line Grey Yellow Black Cream Albino
1 48 0 0 0 16
2 292 87 88 32 171
What is the most probable genotype of each albino line
