Title: As breakfast trays are served, a Catholic patient asks the nurse to take it away
Post by: nurse2mrow on Sep 7, 2014
As breakfast trays are served, a Catholic patient asks the nurse to take it away, because a priest is coming to administer Communion. The response by the nurse should be:
1.   “You really need this nutrition. I have to leave it for you. Regardless, you must eat.”
2.   “I will leave the tray in the kitchen and you may call me to bring it back when it is time.”
3.   “You must eat your breakfast before it gets cold. If the priest comes, tell him to wait for you.”
4.   “Communion is only another piece of bread, so it will go just fine with your eggs.”
